I enjoyed shooting Laura and Chad’s engagement session down in Alabama a couple of weeks ago! They were really fun and I learned Chad is a big Alabama fan since we listened to the game while driving around to different locations. I knew if he was going to smile in the photos by how the game was going. Laura was able to make one of my photo bucket list shots come true by wanting a campfire shot. Although I was unprepared lighting wise I think they turned out great. Before their session I asked them a few questions about their relationship to get to know them. Here are a few of their answers. When did you two know it was meant to be? Chad knew it was meant to be when he was away in the police academy in Alabama. He says that he missed being with me and that he wanted to be with me for the rest of his life. I knew I wanted to be with Chad when he helped me through my decision to change jobs. He was so focused on what was best for me and made me feel comfortable that he would go anywhere […]
Cole and Ashlyn were naturals in front of the camera during their Nashville engagement session. I really enjoyed hanging out with them at Cumberland Park and taking their engagement pictures. Here are a few of my favorites photos below. Don’t forget to let them know how awesome their photos are by leaving a comment!
I enjoyed getting to know Katie and Dustin and how awesome they are for each other. I had them answer a few questions before their engagement session so I can get to know them and I thought I would share some of their answers below! How they met: Dustin works at Williamson County Parks and Recreation. He worked at the Longview Rec Center when Katie was teaching an adult tap class out there. The ladies in Katie’s class worked with Dustin, and decided it would be a good idea to set them up. It took a while for them to agree to the setup, but they were persistent, so Dustin decided to finally reach out to Katie via text. 4 hours later, Katie responded. She says she had to play a little hard to get. their first date was a week later at Buca di Beppo in Franklin and then to a movie. It just kept going from there! When they knew it was meant to be: When Dustin knew it was meant to be: I knew from the very beginning that there was something special about Katie. I don’t know that there was ever one big “light bulb” moment for me. From the day […]

I was extremely worried that the shoot was going to be cancelled because on the way to Centennial Park it started pouring down raining and hailing! However, when I arrived the clouds had passed away and the sun started to shine creating amazing lighting for their session. I had a great time with Aaron and Sarah walking around the park and taking their engagement photos. Didn’t they do awesome in the pictures below? Can you guess which pose made Aaron smile the most? After doing a few different poses I immediately noticed Aaron had the biggest smile on his face when I asked him to give Sarah a big bear hug. It never failed to make him smile that was the go to pose. I can tell these two are going to be amazing together. I am looking forward to shooting their wedding at the end of the year. Let them know how amazing they were by sharing this post on facebook and leaving them a little message! I am sure they will appreciate the love!
